Time Students may also complete the full course and receive the regular school diploma. TEACHER TRAINING DIPLOMA Students completing 36 Term Hours of required subjects will be awarded the Evangelical Teacher Training Diploma. A fee of $1.50 is charged by the Association for this diploma. Students receiving the regular Baptist Bible Institute Diplo– ma will also be awarded the Evangelical Teacher Training Diplo– ma, since these required subjects are included in the full Institute course. REGULA.'l,IONS CLASSES are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7: 10 to 9: .55. Each student is expected to attend every class in which he is enrolled unless hindered by sickness or Providence. Deductions will be made for both absence and tardiness. ABSENCE due to sickness or Providence may be excused by the Dean. In case of an excused absence the student is allow– ed to make up his work. Credit will not be given when absences are unexcused. The l,,; purpose of the chapel service is to unite the. student body in a profitable and refreshing period of devotion and inspiration. Faculty members and visiting pastors, teachers, preachers and missionaries will have charge of these periods. v EXAMINATIONS are given during the 12th or closing week of each term. The purpose of these tests is not merely to show the student what he does not know, but to confirm in him the . confidence that he has retained certain essential facts which are vital to his further study and spiritual life and work. No soldier of the Lord develops in effectiveness ,vithout being put to the t est. Students not able to take the examinations at the scheduled date and hour will be charged fifty cents for each examination taken. PRACTICAL CHRISTIAN WORK is a vital part of the In– stitute's ministry. Every student is expected to put into practice the teaching presented in the classroom. Daily personal testi– mony and soul-winning is expected of our students. Practical work assignments will be given for service thru Children's Bible Clubs, Sunday School Classes, Adult Bible Classes, Prayer meet– ings, Youth Meetings, Church Services, Mission Meetings, Open Air Services, Tract Distribution, etc. Practical work assignments should take precedence over social privileges and week-end per– missions.
