EXAMINATIONS Six-week tests and final semester examinations are given. The purpose of these tests is not merely to show the student what he does not know, but to confirm to him the confidence that he has retained certain essential facts which are vital to his further study and spirit– ual life and work. No soldier of the Lord develops in effectiveness without being put to the test. All examinations must be taken at the time appointed. No late examinations can be taken unless permission has been received from the Registrar. Those who take late examinations due to death in the family or illness (in which ('8Se a certificate from the doctor or school nurse -must be presented) will receive the full grade to which they are entitled. A passing grade of D only will be allowed for unexcused late examinations. GRADING SYSTEM A+ 97-100 Very Superior A 94- 96 Superior A- 90- 93 Excellent B+ 87- 89 Very Good B 84- 86 Satisfactory B- 80- 83 Good C 75- 79 Fair D 70- 74 Poor but passing E 65- 69 *Condition F Below 65 **Failure I ***Incomplete *"E" (Condition) means that the student must take a re-examina– tion or turn in work recommended by the instructor in order · to receive passing grade of "D". Re-examinations for all tests other than semester finals must be completed within (3) three weeks of the date original exam papers are returned. **"F" (Failure) means that he must take the course again before he can receive credit. ***"I" (Incomplete) means that work which is marked "I" may be made up within ( 4) four weeks. In case of serious illness or other emergency the time limit may be extended to six months by special permission; if the work is not made up within the limit fixed, the grade is changed to "F" (Failure). To receive credit, work must be cempleted, including aII examina– tions, within (4) four weeks after the end of the ,;emester.
