1000 Days Fund Report 2025

RESIDENCE HALL IMPROVEMENTS Cultivating Life-Changing Friendships We often say that Cedarville feels like home — and we mean it! When students come to campus, they enter a Christcentered community where they’re encouraged, discipled, and surrounded by friendships that last a lifetime. Roughly 85% of our undergraduate students live on campus in residence halls. Over the years, these spaces have been wellloved and well-used by students, leaving bathrooms, rooms, and lounges worn, outdated, and in need of renovation. Thanks to your generosity through the 1000 Days Fund, necessary repairs and meaningful renovations took place in the summer months while students were away. The Younger Center — the shared lounge area of Rickard and Murphy — received fresh furniture, including chairs, love seats, tables, counters with stools, booths, and games like vertical Scrabble and board games. St. Clair, Murphy, and Rickard underwent significant bathroom renovations. While seemingly minor, the goal of these improvements is to create a space for community to thrive. We want the spaces our students live in to foster close-knit community — whether that is through a Bible study, a prayer in the hallway, or a game night with friends. Over time, those spontaneous hallway chats turn into longer, life-changing conversations. Because of your generosity, we have been able to create spaces that are welcoming, comfortable, and conducive to the kind of authentic relationships that help shape lives for the Kingdom. Thank you for helping our residence halls reflect the heart of our campus community and make Cedarville feel like home. 8
