Contact the Title IXOffice Office Line: 937-766-7777 Email: sberkheiser@cedarville.edu Recreation and Wellness Center The Cedarville University athletic and recreation facilities were built, and are nowmaintained, to helpmeet the athletic, recreational, educational, fitness, andwellness needs of the University family, along with servicing a number of University-sponsored activities, conferences, and events. The CallanAthletic Center, completed in 1981, houses the Stranahan Gymnasium, the athletic training facility, the athletic equipment room, nine locker rooms, six general classrooms, an exercise lab, and an athletic varsity room, along with 38 offices servicing primarily Athletics and the School of Allied Health. The Stranahan Gymnasium serves as the competition gym for bothmen’s and women’s varsity basketball teams, the varsity women’s volleyball team, as well as the intramural sports program (basketball, volleyball and badminton competition). It has an all-wood floor with three full-length basketball courts, two additional half-court basketball courts, five volleyball courts, and 10 badminton courts. The Recreation Center, completed in 2003, includes the Doden Field House, the Fitness Center, the campus recreation equipment room, and six offices. The 60,000-square-foot Doden Field House includes a six-lane competition indoor 200-meter track, bleachers seating 1000, an infieldwith four basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, along with two indoor soccer courts. The Fitness Center includes a 36-foot indoor climbing wall, three racquetball courts, a 2200-square- foot exercise studio, a 2000-square-foot free weight room, 18 Nautilus strength machines, and 50 cardiomachines.
