Professional-level pharmacy students typically rely on three financial sources to cover the cost of their education: scholarships, loans, and personal savings or employment. ƒ You will be eligible for a School of Pharmacy scholarship upon admission that ranges from $5,000 to $15,000 annually. Criteria for selection include character, service, academic record, and potential for future impact as a pharmacist. ƒ You could also qualify for externally funded scholarships (by corporations, foundations, and individuals) annually awarded to our students. ƒ You may also work in one of the area pharmacies as a pharmacy intern, earning extra money while gaining valuable professional experience. In addition, you can consider federally funded programs that provide educational stipends or loan forgiveness options through military or public health service. ƒ You will be encouraged to attend annual financial planning sessions that are designed to help you make good financial decisions to increase your probability of a strong financial future.
