ENTERPRISING EARN YOUR PharmD AND ONLINE MBA AT THE SAME TIME Many pharmacists work in management or develop their own businesses. This dual degree option equips professional pharmacists for business and executive responsibilities. PharmD students who pursue the online MBA are required to complete three business prerequisites as well as a statistics course in prepharmacy. Students in the dual programmay take MBA courses as PharmD electives. Select pharmacy courses are MBA substitutes, thus reducing the total number of credits and cost you would incur if the degree was earned separately. PHARMACY INNOVATION CENTER The Center for Pharmacy Innovation seeks to identify creative solutions, provide educational initiatives, and promote patient advocacy that positively impact patients and expand the pharmacist’s role as part of a collaborative healthcare team. As a pharmacy student, you will hear regularly from Center-sponsored guest presenters and faculty innovators as they share insights from their research, empowering you to see into the future of healthcare. Additionally, depending upon your interest and available positions, you can intern with these pioneers, gaining firsthand experience as an innovator while earning a part-time income.
