6 CaringWell. StayingWell. We will respond quickly to any suspected COVID-19 case on our campus, caring well for those affected and limiting spread of the virus. These five protocols reflect the best advisement of our own University health experts as well as regional and national public health authorities: RESPONDING TO A CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASE TRIAGE — Isolate the individual and continue to monitor symptoms. Make information about local testing resources available. TELL —Notify your camp/conference director and Cedarville University events representative. TEND — Ensure the affected individual is properly isolated and monitored; properly sanitize any potentially infected spaces. Depart campus within 24 hours. TRACE —Work with your camp director, our internal team, and county health officials to properly contact trace. ISOLATION IF INFECTED Guests who either test positive for COVID-19 or who exhibit symptoms consistent with COVID-19 will be required to leave campus within 24 hours. TESTING Cedar Care Village Pharmacy in downtown Cedarville has rapid antigen testing capability. Call 937-766-2273 or visit cedarcarerx.com to schedule an appointment. CONTACT TRACING The sponsor organization and the University will assist in identifying individuals who may have been exposed to infection and quickly track areas where the virus may be spreading. QUARANTINE IF EXPOSED Guests who have been in close contact of an individual with a test confirmed case of COVID-19 will need to depart campus in 24 hours. Guests who previously have had a confirmed case of COVID-19 are exempt from having to quarantine for 90 days from the date of their positive test. In addition, guests who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be exempt from quarantine.
