CEDARVILLE HAS 99% PLACEMENT RATE Résumé? Check. Interview? Check. Land the job? Check. Cedarville University graduates seem to have mastered the art of the job search. According to national data provided by the National Association of College and Employers, Cedarville University’s 99% career placement rate for the class of 2022 is 12–15% higher than the national average. The postgraduate placement rate tracks graduates employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. “Cedarville University students are very talented. They have good character and are highly motivated,” said Jeff Reep ’78, Director of Career Services at Cedarville. “The university does a great job of equipping students through rigorous academic programs and professional development that employers appreciate and want on their teams.” Ce d a r v i l l e ’ s e x c e l l e n t academic programs and faculty do a great job preparing students for their professional careers. The career services program also plays a role in making students aware of job opportunities. Their services include résumé reviews, mock interviews and career fairs and are often required of students through their classes. “These requirements create direct and indirect connections for students to obtain jobs,” added Reep. Career Services has certified professional career coaches, résumé writers, and online profile experts, which help add credibility to students. The office helps prepare students with necessary skills for postgraduation. Graduated students are working first jobs at well-known companies such as the FBI, Honda, Amazon, and the Mayo Clinic, as well as spreading out to respected graduate schools like Harvard and Big Ten schools.
