Cedarville Magazine Spring 2024

STUDENT-ATHLETES BLESS OTHERS AROUND THE WORLD The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) solicited donations across campus for this year’s Athletics Department Operation Christmas Child (OCC) Shoe Box Drive. The athletes saved shoe boxes from their gear packs to send out the donated items. The packing party was held in conjunction with Youth Day at the men’s basketball game on November 18. Kids received free admission to the game if they brought any type of OCC donation, and 161 kids participated. Hotel sponsors were also invited to be a part of this event and encouraged to donate travel-sized items.
