STUDENTS AND ALUMNI SERVE THROUGH GLOBAL OUTREACH God works in ways beyond what we could ask or imagine if we are willing to be available and obedient. As I planned a spring break Global Outreach trip to allow our Student Alumni Association (SAA) team to serve alongside alumnus Craig Libby ’89 and his family in Mexico, I had no idea the ways God would move throughout the week to use our team to accomplish His purposes. Greg Frank ’91, who had been one of Craig’s roommates at Cedarville, joined our team with his stepson, Austin, who wanted to serve on a short-term trip. Greg is the Executive Director at Bethany Baptist Camp in New York. Only God could orchestrate three alumni in full-time ministry with their own kids, two of whom are current Cedarville students, serving together with a student team to bring hope and healing to people in Mexico. Our team partnered with and supported a local church in San Quintin, Mexico, by pouring a concrete floor in their church, assisting with a three-day vacation Bible school for the children of migrant workers, praying in homes in the evenings, and worshiping A LETTER FROM THE DIRECTOR The Student Alumni Association team poses for a picture with Craig Libby and Diana Perkey. 40
