DR. BOB LUTZ TO LEAD STRATEGIC INITIATIVES While many universities across the country are struggling to maintain their enrollment numbers, Cedarville University has been experiencing a remarkable season of growth. It’s a testament to the Lord’s goodness at Cedarville that our need to plan for future growth has never been greater! That’s why Dr. Bob Lutz '01, Cedarville’s recently hired Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, is here to help. Lutz’s history with Cedarville started during his time as a student and class leader, graduating in 2001. He was hired by Cedarville as a resident director in 2004 and later served as Associate Dean for Student Leadership Development. Lutz discovered his passion for serving college students in these roles as he fostered relationships with Cedarville students and cultivated a joyful campus culture. After nine years of service at Cedarville, Lutz was selected for a leadership position at PalmBeach Atlantic University. During his decade at PalmBeach Atlantic, Lutz served as Director of Student Activities, Assistant Dean of Students, and Vice President for Student Development. Lutz brings this abundant professional experience back with him to his new role at Cedarville. Lutz’s new senior-level position at Cedarville involves creating strategic opportunities to steward Cedarville’s growth. His first major task is overseeing the launch of Cedarville’s first-ever online undergraduate programs. His leadership is already playing a critical role in helping students who previously could not enroll at Cedarville to have the opportunity to pursue a Cedarville degree. Lutz’s second tenure at Cedarville will also focus on maximizing the impact of the University’s Dual Enrollment program and strengthening partnerships with Christian high schools across the country. We thank God for continuing to grow Cedarville University and trust that He will use Dr. Lutz to further His mission here!
