CU-EMS CELEBRATES 60 YEARS OF CARE This year marks the 60th anniversary of Cedarville University Emergency Medical Services (CU-EMS) — the first collegiate EMS organization in the nation. What began in 1965 as a simple commitment to serve has grown into a student-led, volunteer ambulance service that responds to more than 100 emergencies each year on campus and in the surrounding community. The largest-ever class of 35 students recently completed Cedarville’s EMT course, equipping them to provide Basic Life Support care through CU-EMS. The training includes classroom instruction and hands-on field experience in partnership with local EMS and fire departments. With an 88% pass rate on the national certification exam, Cedarville’s EMT students are prepared to respond to crises with skill and compassion. CU-EMS is more than a medical service — it’s a ministry. These student volunteers serve their classmates, faculty, staff, and Village of Cedarville residents with excellence, offering care with Christlike compassion in life’s most urgent moments. 43 CUSTOMIZE YOUR DEGREE WITH ONE OF FOUR TRACKS: Professional Leadership Digital Communication and Marketing Social Media and Cybersecurity Healthcare Management EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES TODAY: CEDARVILLE.EDU/MACOL Announcing the Online MA IN COMMUNICATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP Cedarville alumni and parents receive a 10% discount!
