YELLOW JACKET QUICK HITS INAUGURAL YELLOW JACKET GOLF OUTING Golfers enjoyed food, fellowship, and prizes at the 2025 Yellow Jacket Golf Outing. More than 100 golfers across 34 four-player teams competed in a scramble format, hosted by Cedarville student-athletes and coaches at each tee box. TENNIS TEAM DISPLAYS THE LOVE OF CHRIST ON MISSIONS TRIP Yellow Jacket tennis coaches Karl and Kady Monson led a group of intercollegiate players to minister in the Chicago area, partnering with Inner City Impact to serve children and families in underserved neighborhoods. “Over the course of the trip,” Karl Monson said, “Our team of nine had the opportunity to live out our faith, work hard, connect deeply with the community, and experience God’s presence in a city full of both beauty and brokenness." MAKENNA FEE NAMED ASSISTANT SPORTS DIRECTOR AND SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR Former Lady Jacket basketball player Makenna Fee '23, MBA '25 is Cedarville Athletics’ new Assistant Sports Information Director and Special Events Coordinator. The Seymour, Indiana, native earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University. She will oversee media relations, assist with game-day operations, coordinate press releases, and support departmental special events, including award ceremonies, fan experiences, and outreach activities. GRUENBERG TAKES ATHLETIC TRAINING TALENTS ON GLOBAL STAGE Kurt Gruenberg, Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Training and Sport Performance, served as the lead athletic trainer for the U-19 Men’s National Soccer Team as the team traveled to Albir, Spain, for training and competition. A total of 20 players representing Major League Soccer, Bundesliga, and the Premier League comprised the roster. The Americans played a pair of friendly matches against host Spain and Ukraine, with both resulting in 1-1 draws. 37
