The class of 2026 enjoyed these eight series during their time in chapel: 2022–23 DR. WHITE | THE LORD IS GOOD In his 2022–23 chapel sermon series, Dr. White walked students through the Psalms, encouraging them to find peace and refuge in the goodness of God. His steadfast love endures forever! FACULTY | JESUS IS BETTER Cedarville’s Bible faculty taught through Hebrews during the 2022–23 school year, emphasizing how Jesus is better than everything. We are called to stand firm in the faith because of the greatness of Jesus Christ and his work. 2023–24 DR. WHITE | JUSTIFIED. FORGIVEN. ALIVE. IN CHRIST In his 2023–24 chapel sermon series, Dr. White took students through the book of Romans, encouraging them to understand, celebrate, and live out their new identity in Christ. The Lord’s work on the cross leads each believer to new life. We are all justified by Christ's sacrifice, forgiven by His grace, and made alive in Him forever! FACULTY | THE COMING KING The 2023–24 faculty chapel sermon series through 1 and 2 Samuel traced the rise and fall of several major characters. In one sense, David is the anticipated coming King, but David’s disappointing downfall and the Davidic covenant point the readers’ hopes beyond merely this son of Jesse to the King who will reign forever. 2024–25 DR. WHITE | EVERY SINGLE WORD Dr. White guided students through the book of Joshua in his 2024–25 chapel sermon series, “Every Single Word.” As they witnessed the Israelites' journey to the Promised Land, students saw how God faithfully fulfilled each of His promises. In the same way, every single word of God's promises to us will come to pass — not one word will fail! FACULTY | ACTS: THE ADVANCE OF THE GOSPEL During the 2024–25 school year, Cedarville University's School of Biblical and Theological Studies explored the book of Acts with a focus on several themes, including the Great Commission, global missions, the power of the Holy Spirit, and the Church's role in spreading the Gospel. 2025–26 DR. WHITE | MARKED BY JESUS In the 2025–26 chapel series, "MARKed By Jesus," Dr. White walked students through the Gospel of Mark, exploring the rich themes of servanthood and sacrifice in Jesus' life on Earth. Week by week, this expositional series considered what it means to follow the Servant King and live a life shaped by His example. FACULTY | EXODUS: OUR GOD SAVES In their latest chapel series, “Exodus: Our God Saves,” Cedarville’s Bible professors taught through the book of Exodus, highlighting God's salvation of His people and the call for them to live by faith. Despite their constant unfaithfulness, He was always faithful to save and preserve them. CHapel 2023–24 31
