practice guidelines, and then translate
this learning into effective, evidence-
based practice.
A recent FNP graduate partnered
with an agency in Nepal. Her master’s
thesis addressed the impact of pro-life
education on attitudes toward abortion
among Nepali college students. Through
her research, she articulated a biblical
worldview of personhood, emphasizing
the value of human life beginning with
conception. After receiving pro-life
education, the students demonstrated a
significant difference in their attitudes
toward abortion, with more students
indicating preference toward the pro-
life worldview.
A current GHM student has focused
her capstone experience on improving
ped iat r ic nurse s’ spi r it ua l ca re
competencies by providing continuing
education at a health care facility. This
session will be presented by a Cedarville
faculty member who will approach
spiritual care from a biblical framework.
The graduate student will ask participants
to complete a survey before and after the
educational session to examine its impact
on nurses’ belief in their ability to provide
spiritual care.
Both of these capstone experiences
illustrate the opportunity to extend
Gospel influence wherever God leads our
graduates to serve.
Cedarville’s School of Nursing prepares
nurses to fulfill God’s purpose for their
lives and careers with a priority on personal
spiritual growth and Christian character.

You have many options to consider
for an advanced degree or finishing (or
even starting) your bachelor’s. So how do
youmake an informed decision? What are
the differentiating features and benefits to
consider? What about the cost and overall
value? Does a Christian program matter?
More andmore, for individuals to gain
positions of influence in culture, business,
or nearly any other career field, a master’s
degree is a requirement — and we want
Cedarville graduates to earn a seat at the
table. While professional preparation and
career advancement are top reasons for
pursuing graduate education, equally
important is our desire to equip Christian
men and women to be salt and light in
their professional circles, influencing their
world for Christ.
Among the variety of options, what
makes Cedarville’s graduate and adult
programs unique?
A community of faith:
Every student
— regardless of degree program or
academic level — professes faith in
Jesus Christ.
Biblical integration:
Faculty and
students integrate their disciplines
with scriptural principles and develop
a biblically based worldview related to
their learning.
Faculty mentors:
Students learn from
experienced full-time faculty members
at the top of their fields. Their lives
match their lectures as they live at the
intersection of faith and vocation, and
they are eager to mentor emerging
professionals.
Cedarville has been equipping
graduates for effective professional and
ministry outreach since 1887. Graduate
and adult programs are a next logical
and important step as we build on our
mission to equip students for lifelong
leadership and service. Cedarville
offers attractive programs in business,
education, ministry, and health care. We
also provide convenient scheduling and
competitive tuition, but our foundation
and philosophy set us apart.
If you are a Christ-follower who
wants to be professionally equipped
to intentionally live out your faith in
the workplace, you need to explore
Cedarville’s graduate and adult programs.
