Cedarville Magazine Summer 2019

Attached to Centennial Library and overlooking Cedar Lake, the new 300-seat Chick-fil-A dining commons will offer another roomy and comfortable eating space on campus. The new building will be strategically located next to the library at the heart of campus. Students leaving classes in the Center for Biblical and Theological Studies, or finishing up in the library, will have an easy on-their-way alternative for lunch and dinner. The Chick-fil-A facility will also provide an inviting option for campus visitors during CU Friday and other special events. The new 15,000-square-foot eatery will feature large window spaces with scenic views of Cedar Lake, sunsets, and the northern campus buildings. Kitchens and serving spaces will be secured after normal hours of operation so that students can enjoy open spaces to study and build community. By providing a student-favorite in Chick-fil-A and a bright, inviting environment along Cedar Lake, this new space should quickly become a campus treasure.
