In 1981, Cedarville President Paul Dixon published The Joy of Discipleship through Cedarville’s Christian Educational Publications. This small but powerful book shared the heart of a university president for intentional investment in others for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. What was a priority and practice of Dixon nearly four decades ago has grown and flourished at Cedarville with more than 1,000 students now engaging in student discipleship groups every year, plus countless discipleship relationships with faculty and staff members.
