Cedarville Magazine Fall 2021

CAMPUS NEWS HELP US EXPAND ATHLETIC AND ACADEMIC CAPACITY Cedarville’s newest in-demand healthcare graduate programs are one step closer to receiving students. And they’ll be meeting in facilities that are a direct result of One Thousand Days Transformed: The Campaign for Cedarville . This summer, the new Master of Medical Science in PA Studies (M.M.Sc.- PA) program received approvals from both the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and the Ohio Department of Higher Education (ODHE), and the Master of Athletic Training (M.A.T.) began receiving applications through the Athletic Training Central Application System (ATCAS). The PA program is slated to start classes in 2023, pending approval by its professional accreditor, while the M.A.T. will begin June 2022. Both programs will benefit from the expansion of athletic and academic capacity at Callan Athletic Center. M.A.T. and PA classrooms, labs, student gathering spaces, and faculty offices will be located in the expanded and renovated facilities in Callan. The expansion will also include a new weight room for Cedarville student- athletes, providing more workout space for students across campus to enjoy the benefits of weight training. Student- athletes will hold team meetings, review game film, and host events in a new beautifully designed 2,000-square-foot team room. Cedarville Athletics will also use this branded venue during recruiting visits with future Yellow Jackets. SUPPORT ATHLETIC AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE Leave a legacy or honor a loved one with your naming-level gift, which may be given as a one-time contribution or over four to five years. Please pray about a gift of $5,000 per year for five years to name an office or a $50,000 gift per year given over five years to name a classroom. Your gift of $20, $50, $100, or more will help us promote the physical health and well-being of all students, encourage our athletes to strive for excellence that honors the Lord, and enable our School of Allied Health to equip future athletic trainers and PAs who will use their profession as a platform for the Gospel.
