(Septuagintal timeline). It is possible that events at the end of the Ice Age caused the Gӧbekli Tepe builders to migrate to the area and then leave. The Ice Age is shown to be a significant event in our dating of very ancient monuments and events. However, we can only make approximations in biblical dating of monuments like Gӧbekli Tepe because we do not currently have the needed precise data to do otherwise. Further work in this area is needed. REFERENCES Anonymous. 1981. Hayʼah al-Miṣrīyah al-ʻAmmāh lil-Misāḥah al- Jīyūlūjīyah wa-al-Mashrūʻāt al-Taʻdīnīyah [ Geologic Map of Egypt ].
