D. in astronomy from Indiana University, and is Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of South Carolina Lancaster. Since 2013, he has been the astronomer at Answers in Genesis. Dr. Faulkner serves on the board of directors of the Creation Research Society, and he is the editor of the Creation Research Society Quarterly .
