Both angular and rounded grains can be found in the sandstones. Some of the mineral grains are labeled as follows: (K) K-feldspar, (M) muscovite, (D) dolomite, (C) calcite and (MaF) a marine fossil. Quartz is white. The blue color is epoxy. The samples have been stained so K-feldspar is yellow and calcite is red.
