He earned a B.S. in secondary education, math and science from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, a B.S. in physics from Northern Illinois University, an M.S. in physics from the University of Illinois and a Ph.D. in atmospheric science from Purdue University. He is a member of the Creation Research Society, Creation Biology Society, American Geophysical Union and American Association of Physics Teachers. Dr. Gollmer’s specialization includes wavelet analysis, Monte Carlo simulation and radiative transfer.  His research is currently focused on climate modeling and data science.
