Inspire 9 Heritage Corner Heritage Dreams Come True With Dreams came true on August 16 when more than 25 Heritage Alumni attended the Rodgers and Hammerstein production of Cinderella at La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro, Ohio. The production was preceded by an exquisite dining experience that included La Comedia’s famous sweet potato soufflé. It truly was an enchanting afternoon. Alumnae Luncheon The annual Heritage Alumnae Luncheon, held July 10, allowed retired schoolteachers a chance to share stories about their college days and their teaching experiences. After a delightful lunch in the President’s Dining Room, the ladies heard from former Alumni Director Gary Kuhn, who helped to create the Heritage Alumni group. The afternoon ended with a tour of the new Student Life Center. Newport Aquarium On June 15 the Heritage Alumni headed to Kentucky for a full day of viewing underwater life at the Newport Aquarium. The tour began with lunch at the Lighthouse Café, followed by a look at the aquarium’s vast variety of fish in their different environments. The alumni made it safely across ’Gator Bayou and enjoyed the spectacular Jellyfish Gallery. Don't miss the Heritage Alumni Reunion Luncheon at Homecoming!
