32 Fall 2003 while pursuing his master of library and information science degree through the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. Jill Rynerson Chartrand ’98 and her husband, Nathan, announce the birth of Miranda Lynae on July 17, 2002. She joins her sister, Calli (2), at home in Savage, Minnesota. Nathan is a computer programmer at Snyder’s Drug Store. Jill stays home part-time with the girls and works part-time as an adoption counselor at Crossroads Adoption in Edina, Minnesota. Ernest ’98 and Tiffany Hamilton Clark ’98 are serving the Lord in southeast Asia. They have completed their first term there, learning the language and developing relationships with their Hindu neighbors. They have two children, Catherine Drue (3) and Ben Hamilton (1). Jennie Fisher ’98 serves the Lord in the Dominican Republic. She is involved with a ministry that reaches out to the Haitians who live in the garbage dumps and sugar cane fields of the Puerto Plata area. She plans to start and manage the new literacy program for the Haitians in the village of Caraballo and to incorporate children’s Evangelism Explosion into that curriculum. The Forresters reside in Freeport, Illinois, where they are youth leaders at First Baptist Church. Dale owns and operates his own racing cylinder head/intake manifold business — Forrester Racing Heads. Trisha loves staying at home with Sydnee and helps out with the business. Josh Halulko ’98 and Michelle Bolt ’99 were married July 27, 2002 in Chicago, Illinois. They enjoyed their honeymoon in Nicaragua. They both work at Lafayette School in Chicago, where Josh is the disciplinarian, and Michelle teaches second grade. Dusty ’98 and Megan Stevens Hill ’98 announce the birth of Cade Daniel. He was born June 15, 2003 and was welcomed home by his siblings, Macy Kaitlin (5) and Austin Matthew (3), in Jackson, Ohio. Ethan McQuinn ’98 recently completed his first year of law school at the University of Colorado School of Law. He is currently working for a Denver law firm, and he spent part of this past summer studying international law at Oxford University in Oxford, England, and other parts of western Europe, including Brussels, Luxembourg, and Straasburg. He is pictured here with his sister, Emily McQuinn ’02 . She recently received her Colorado real estate license. Amy Volpe ’98 and Eric Gruetzmacher were married October 13, 2001. They met and married at Garfield Baptist Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After a honeymoon in southern California, the couple returned to their home in Milwaukee. Eric is a computer design engineer at Camtronics Medical Systems, and Amy teaches middle school science at Heritage Christian School. BJ Bechtel ’99 was thankful for the 18 summer missionaries that came to Inner City Impact in Chicago. They built relationships and challenged the kids one-on- one. BJ looks forward to his furlough that starts in January 2004. Nikki Chakalis ’99 and Daniel Meraz were married in July 2002 in Columbus, Ohio. They enjoyed a honeymoon in St. Thomas and have made their home in Chicago, Illinois. Daniel manages computer systems, and Nikki teaches fourth grade at Salem Christian School. Wade ’99 and Amy Wilder Harris ’98 announce the birth of Alexa Lynn on March 27, 2003. Wade is the resident director of Brock Hall at Cedarville University and is also a part-time youth minister in Centerville. Amy enjoys staying at home with Alexa. Karen Hayes ’99 and Weston Young were married October 12, 2002. They reside in Indianapolis, Indiana, where Weston is an accountant, and Karen is in law school. Adam ’99 and Angela Kirchner Oxford ’99 announce the birth of Emma LeeAnn on March 26, 2003. Adam is a project engineer for KTH Parts Industries, and Angela was a pediatric operating room nurse but now enjoys staying at home with Emma. The Oxfords reside in Dayton, Ohio. Andrew Ziegenfuss ’99 received his master of divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2003. His wife, Becky Crosson Ziegenfuss ’99 , received her master of elementary education degree from Liberty University in January 2003. They reside in the Cincinnati, Ohio area, where Becky teaches third grade, and Andy is the student pastor of Grace Baptist Church. 2000s David Carr ’00 and Anna Gillen were married June 21, 2003 in Xenia, Ohio. David is an intensive care unit nurse at Miami Valley Hospital, and Anna is an emergency room nurse at Children’s Medical Center. They reside in Miamisburg, Ohio. Brenda Mick Felker ’00 and her husband, Brian, announce the birth of Caleb Aaron on October 22, 2002. They reside in Rockford, Michigan. Maranatha Ruberg ’00 and Travis Hamilton were married December 14, 2002 at Brookhaven Wesleyan Church in Marion, Indiana. Several Cedarville alumni participated in the wedding. After spending a week in Grand Cayman, Travis returned to work as an accountant in Fishers, Indiana, and Maranatha is working towards her doctorate in pharmacy at Purdue University. They reside in Lebanon, Indiana. Heather Brown ’01 and Terry Burner Jr. were married May 11, 2002 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Vienna, West Virginia. Heather is a registered nurse in labor and delivery and is taking classes towards a master’s degree in the family nurse practitioner program. Terry is an aviation ordnance man first class, serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Ronald Reagan. The Burners reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Holly Dahlin ’01 and Allan Helber were married November 2, 2002 in Sugar Grove, Ohio. Allan is a loan officer for FarmCredit Services of Mid America, and Holly is a teacher at Parker Elementary. They have made their home in Waverly, Ohio. Delton Hochstedler ’01 and Fernanda Fernandes ’01 were married September 7, 2002 in São Paulo, Brazil. They now reside in London, Ohio. Jonathan ’01 and Noella Fisher Kleis ’99 announce the birth of Samuel David on February 18, 2003. They are missionary appointees to Italy with ABWE.
