32 Fall 2004 Lori Lindner French ’92 and her husband, Dave, continue to minister to the students at Faith Academy in the Philippines. Lori was pleased with how her students performed the play Oliver! in May 2004. Not only did they do a great job at performances, but their successes of character-building off the stage were a great encouragement. John ’92 and Tara Rhodes Stewart ’92 announce the birth of Claire Renee on June 14, 2004. Her sisters, Emily and Julia, welcomed her home in Carmel, Indiana. Paul ’92 and Jackie Rohm Wetzel ’92 announce the birth and adoption of Aslynn Brooke XinYu. She was born February 26, 2003 and was placed in Paul and Jackie’s loving arms on February 15, 2004. Big brothers Derek (8) and Daniel (4) awaited her arrival in Cedarville, Ohio. Matthew ’92 and Elizabeth Lane White ’93 announce the birth of Margaret Elizabeth on January 13, 2004. Maggie joins her siblings, Katie (8), Christian (5), and Eric (2), at home in Amelia, Ohio. Matt is the supervisor of instruction for math, science, and technology in the West Clermont Local School District. Beth is a part-time graduate student and stay-at-home mom. Kris ’92 and Marcia Knaus Williams ’94 announce the birth of Isabel Sarah on March 5, 2004. Kristianna (8) and Wesley (5) welcomed her home in Largo, Florida. Ginny Stevenson Bryant ’93 and her husband, Dan, serve with New Tribes Mission in Guinea, West Africa. They have two sons, Elijah (4) and Corbin (3). By the end of 2004 they hope to be moved into a village so they can learn the language in order to share Christ and translate the Bible. Curt ’93 and Angie Henry Pearson ’94 announce the birth of Caleb Matthew on June 10, 2003. He was welcomed home by his five siblings, Ashley (9), Megan (7), Bryan (5), Krista (4), and Tyler (2). Curt is a farmer, and Angie is a stay-at- home/homeschool mom. They reside in Corning, Iowa. Kevin Rotramel ’94 currently resides in Dayton, Ohio, where he works at New Breed Tattoo as a tattoo artist. Andy Shearer ’94 and his wife, Sarah, announce the birth of Joshua Daniel. He was born February 5, 2004 and joins his three sisters, Amiel (5), Allison (4), and Rachael (2), in Hawthorne, California. Tina Mulanax Wessel ’94 and her husband, Keith, announce the birth of Jake Hunter on August 31, 2003. They reside in Canton, Ohio. Tim ’95 and Naomi Jensen Cowley ’95 have completed their first year in a village in Malawi, Central Africa, where they are involved with Frontiers. They are church-planting using a holistic ministry approach among the Muslim Yao people. They have three children, Marika (6), Emily (4), and Gabriel (2). Eric ’95 and Debbie Brazalovich Gingerich ’97 announce the birth of Ethan Walton on March 13, 2004. Eric teaches high school social studies, and Debbie teaches middle school language arts. They reside in Hilliard, Ohio. Phil Graves ’95 and his wife, Kristie, announce the birth of Kara Brianne on May 14, 2004. Phil is the minister of students at Faith Baptist Church in Knoxville, Maryland. Kristie is a respiratory therapist at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Jennifer Fortner Gugle ’95 and her husband, Andrew, announce the births of their two children. Jack Andrew was born November 29, 2001, and Joshua Edward was born November 6, 2003. Andrew is a quality assurance inspector for a homebuilder, and Jennifer stays home with the boys. They reside in Indianapolis, Indiana. Chris ’95 and Brenda Royer Handel ’95 announce the birth of Katie Grace on June 20, 2004. She was welcomed home by Mark (5) and Emily (2) in Crofton, Maryland. Jennifer Kierstead ’95 is teaching, coaching, and discipling in Brazil. She is thankful that she was able to take four graduate classes this summer. Pray that her school is able to find replacements for 10 teachers that have returned to the States. Jennifer Bradley Lewis ’95 and her husband, Drew, announce the birth of Abigail Grace on April 21, 2004. Drew works at the local hospital, and Jennifer stays at home with Abby. She is thankful for the opportunity she has to work per diem as a nurse in both labor and delivery and gynecological oncology. Larry ’96 and Rebekah Cain Brandmeyer ’96 announce the birth of Alexandra Rachel on May 21, 2004. Her brother, Nathan (2), welcomed her home. Larry is CTO and part- owner of a technology company in Des Moines, Iowa. Rebekah works part-time in advertising and print production. Heather Bossley Douglas ’96 and her husband, Steve, announce the birth of Grace Elizabeth on December 18, 2002. She was welcomed home by her brother, Joshua (2), in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Steve is an engineer captain in the U.S. Army, and Heather is a stay-at-home mom. Brad Fawcett ’96 and Bethany Walker ’99 were married July 27, 2002 at Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, Ohio. Several Cedarville alumni participated in and attended the wedding. The Fawcetts enjoyed a honeymoon in Hawaii and currently reside in Williamstown, New Jersey. Kim Dorsey Korhorn ’96 and her husband, Dan, announce the birth of Emma Rose on September 1, 2003. Kim is a part-time OB/GYN nurse, and Dan is in financial planning. They reside in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Julie Martindale Neils ’96 recently took part in a three-person panel discussion about women leaving the work force to become stay-at- home moms. The program is titled “Bringing Mom Back Home” and will air on the Focus on the Family daily radio broadcast September 29-October 1. Julie worked at Focus on the Family as public policy media manager before leaving her job to stay at home with her daughter, Olivia. Julie Stafford ’96 received her master of science degree in library science from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in May 2004. Debi Wong ’96 and Tim Dishong were married February 14, 2004 at Mount Pleasant Meeting House on the grounds of Bellevue State Park in Claymont, Delaware. A festive reception was held nearby at Bellevue Hall, a former DuPont mansion. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon at
