Dan Bosworth ’99 and his wife, Denise, announce the birth of Owen Daniel on May 25, 2004. Dan is the director of operations at Langhorne Terrace Ministries (LTM) in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, where he also works with a junior high youth group. Denise has taken some time off from being children’s ministry coordinator at LTM to be at home with Owen. Sheryl Buckley ’99 and Andrew Fessler were married February 7, 2004 at Far Hills Community Church in Centerville, Ohio. Sheryl is a supervisor at EasyLink Services Corporation, and Andrew is a network engineer at Media Sentry. They reside in Xenia, Ohio. Matt Neubert ’99 and his wife, Tiffany, announce the birth of Amber Eleanor. She was born September 11, 2003 and joins her big sister, Lydia. Matt works at Tastefully Simple, Inc. in Alexandria, Minnesota. Ben ’99 and Jill Breckenfeld Thompson ’99 announce the birth of Jamin Dean on November 25, 2003. Ben teaches eighth grade in Caledonia, Michigan, and Jill enjoys staying home with Jamin. They attend First Baptist Church of Middleville. 2000s David ’00 and Mandy McGuire Fourman ’00 announce the birth of Halle Grace on December 26, 2003. David is a junior high youth pastor at Salem Church of God. Mandy works part-time at a preschool and enjoys staying home with Halle in Englewood, Ohio. Robert Kirby ’00 received his master of divinity degree with high honors from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania in May 2004. Nathan ’00 and Andrea Patterson Verwys ’01 announce the birth of Grace Eileen on May 17, 2004 in Fairfax, Virginia. Jerred Davis ’01 and Darcy Fivek ’02 were married July 20, 2002 at First Baptist Church in Peru, Illinois. After a honeymoon in Maui, the couple returned to their home in Xenia, Ohio. Jerred is an engineer for Rittal Corporation, and Darcy is a bank manager at Fifth Third Bank. Justin ’01 and Lee Anne Toyer Dyer ’00 announce the birth of Clayton Robert on November 11, 2003. Justin is a branch manager for Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and Lee Anne enjoys staying at home with Clay. They recently relocated from Dayton, Ohio to Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Chad ’01 and Erin Brauns Foerch ’01 announce the birth of Carter Allan on July 25, 2003. They recently moved from Holland, Michigan to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, where Chad is a manufacturing engineer at Hearth & Home Technologies. Erin is blessed to be a stay-at- home mom. Heather Garie ’01 and Sean Buboltz were married August 29, 2003 in Newtown, Pennsylvania. Heather is a neonatal intensive care nurse at Tampa General Hospital, and Sean is a firefighter. They reside in Tampa, Florida. Beth Weaver Hauck ’01 and her husband, Mathias, announce the birth of Kaylin Ann on March 25, 2004. Beth is an athletic trainer, and Mathias is a high school teacher and the youth director at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship. They reside in Avon, Ohio. Janene Pereira ’01 and Chris Bradley were married April 5, 2003 at Evangel Baptist Church in Hagerstown, Maryland. Several Cedarville alumni participated in and attended the wedding. The couple resides in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Chris is an executive officer for the Air Force Flight Test Center and Janene is an elementary school nurse. Joel Cramer ’02 and Deborah Clingman ’01 were married July 5, 2003 at Fayette Bible Church in Washington Court House, Ohio. Several Cedarville alumni participated in and attended the wedding. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Bahamas and now live in Louisville, Kentucky. Stephen ’02 and Juliene Swota Hallgren ’01 announce the birth of Ella Grace on June 2, 2004. They reside in Guilderland, New York. Karen Robinson ’02 and Joshua Ricketts were married April 17, 2004 at Calvary Chapel in Massillon, Ohio. Joshua works for the Pennsylvania state government, and Karen is looking for a teaching position in the Greensburg, Pennsylvania area, where they currently reside. Joseph Strychalski ’02 and Carol Mills ’03 were married August 23, 2003. Joe is the manager of Harvest Thrift Store, which provides funding for Harvest Youth Ministries. Carol is a social worker at the foster care and adoption agency Agape for Youth, Inc. They reside in West Carrollton, Ohio. Amanda Kirchner ’03 and Bret Ceren were married June 5, 2004 at First Christian Church of Newburgh in Newburgh, Indiana. After a honeymoon visit to the state of Washington, the couple returned to their home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Both work at Compassion International. Bret is completing his bachelor’s degree, after which he will pursue a commission as a military officer. Julie Landau ’03 is serving the Lord in Eleuthera, Bahamas. She requests prayer for her continual adjustment to the Bahamian culture and workings with the Eleuthera Bible Training Center. In Memory Of Ruth Bradley Dunn ’32 went home to be with the Lord on February 23, 2004 in Troy, Ohio. We offer our condolences to her family. Elizabeth Hall ’37 went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2003. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family. James Jackson ’39 went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2004 in Altoona, Florida. We offer our condolences to his daughter, Juanita, and other family members. Roger Ulsh ’50 went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2004 in Freeport, Illinois. We extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Diana, and other family members. Roger had been a teacher for 36 years in various schools in Ohio, Illinois, and Texas and was a member of Embury United Methodist Church. Jason Presley ’97 went home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2004 after a motorcycle accident. We extend our deepest sympathy to his wife, Danielle, and other family and friends. 34 Fall 2004
