1980s Rob ’89 and Michelle (Dalton) Paswaters ’90 live in Kissimmee, Florida, with their three girls, Kate (12), Meg (9), and Sofia (3). Rob is a senior director at a hospital, and Michelle is a counselor at a community college. 1990s Michael Boyes ’92 received his Doctor of Ministry degree in May 2010 from Gordon- Conwell Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Tracy (Justice) ’94 , live in Bellevue, Ohio, where Mike is pastor of Bellevue Alliance Church. They have a daughter, Kelsy (13). Butch Davis ’92 is the assistant dean of ministries at Word of Life Bible Institute in Schroon Lake, New York. He and his family spend their summers at the Word of Life Ranch managing the operations of the children’s camp. He and his wife, Dawn (Hicks) ’90 , just celebrated 18 years of marriage. They have three children, Emma (12), Liam (8), and Chloe (5). Matt Martens ’93 graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary in May 2010 with a Master of Biblical Studies degree. He and his wife, Wendy (Walters) ’94 , have three children, Ian (11), Emily (8), and Evan (3). Read about Matt’s recent appointment to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on page 39. Christopher ’95 and Joanna (Grissom) Ehlers ’95 announce the birth of Sparrow Elisabeth on April 1, 2009. Chris is a chemist, and Joanna worked as a special needs assistant but now stays home in Xenia, Ohio. Taryn (Campbell) Hofert ’96 and her husband, Scott, have worked at their church in Charlotte, North Carolina, for five years. Scott is a co-pastor, and Taryn serves part time. This past summer, she recorded a worship album of her songs entitled Love & Justice. They have two boys, Colsen (6) and Keane (2). recent events July 20 — Boston Chapter Event Alumni, prospective students, and parents gathered for a casual evening at Bloc 11 Café in Somerville, Massachusetts. HeartSong provided live music. July 30 — Portland, Oregon At the second alumni event in Portland, alumni and parents shared Cedarville stories over burgers and dogs, hot off the grill. July 24 — Seattle Chapter Event A fun group came out to the ball game to cheer on the Tacoma Rainiers!
