Josh ’99 and Caren (Furst) Michael ’00 announce the birth of Ethan Joshua on August 23, 2009. He was welcomed home by Tommy (3), Sam (2), and Nate (2). They live in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, where Josh is a library director, and Caren is a part-time nurse. Lindsey (Mitchell) Yordy ’99 and her husband, Dave, announce the birth of Jonathan Andrew on September 30, 2009. He joined his brother Zach. Dave owns a landscaping business, and Lindsey teaches physical education. They live in Wichita, Kansas. 2000s Derek ’00 and Rachel (Griffin) Chandler ’99 announce the birth of Emileigh Joy on August 27, 2007. She was welcomed home by Alexis, Lydia, and Breanna. Her family appreciates the many prayers for Emileigh, who was born with spina bifida. They live in Delton, Michigan. Jordan ’00 and Jennifer (Ferguson) Culp ’00 announce the birth of Charles Theodore on August 3, 2010. He was welcomed home by big sister Amelia. The Culps celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on July 22. Jordan is employed at DuPont Capital Management, and Jenn stays at home with their children. They reside in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Tim ’00 and Kim (McKenzie) Lehr ’99 announce the birth of Nathan Timothy on October 9, 2009. He was welcomed home by big brother Matthew (3). They live in North Ridgeville, Ohio, where Tim is a network administrator at Hyland Software, and Kim stays at home with the kids. Lonnie Nolt ’00 and his wife, Mandy, announce the birth of their daughter, Corbyn Renee, on January 20, 2010. Mandy is an accreditation specialist at Cedarville. August 7 — Los Angeles Chapter Event Dr. Diane (Conrad) Merchant ’78, professor of communication arts, met up with former students and fellow alumni on a sunny California afternoon at the park. recent events August 7 — Colorado Chapter Event Jeff ’87 and Shelley (Fox) Beste ’95 greeted alumni and guests at the scenic Palmer Lake Park in Colorado Springs. The weather was perfect for a summer picnic. August 11 — Greenville Chapter Event Special thanks to Kim Jenerette ’83 for hosting a gathering of alumni and friends at his home in Greenville, South Carolina.
