Angela (Borsos) Wale ’01 and her husband, Nathan, live in Germantown, Ohio. Angela is a director of nursing, and she was awarded the 2010 Dayton Business Journal Forty under 40 Award. Nathan is a police officer. They have two daughters, Breanna (5) and Alivia (2). Brian Basner ’02 and his wife, Jennifer, announce the birth of Caden Jonathan on January 7, 2010. His middle name was given in honor of Brian’s brother, Jonathan Basner ’98 , who passed away last year after a four-year fight with cancer. They live in Maple Shade, New Jersey, where Brian is a senior financial analyst, and Jennifer is a third-grade teacher. Rachel (Frey) Harshbarger ’02 and her husband, Ryan, announce the birth of Jackson Edward on March 22, 2010. He joined Abigail Grace (3) in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Rachel is a kindergarten teacher, and Ryan is a technician. Elizabeth (Steenwyk) Krol ’02 and her husband, Mike, announce the births of Caleb Donald and Logan Harold, born on November 29, 2009. Mike is a farmer, and Elizabeth is a stay-at-home mom and self-employed portrait photographer. They reside in Zeeland, Michigan. Edward Low ’02 and Shiopei Cheng were married on January 2, 2010. They live near Baltimore, Maryland, where Edward is a system administrator for Cybercore Technologies, and Shiopei is a customer service analyst for Under Armour. They enjoy working in the youth ministry at their church. Sarah (Weaver) Florea ’03 and her husband, Teodor, announce the birth of Owen Josiah on December 18, 2009. Sarah graduated in May 2010 with her master’s degree in reading from Concordia University. They reside in the Chicago, Illinois, area. recent events August 14 — Raleigh Chapter Event Stephanie (King) Minier ’05 caught up with alumni and friends in Raleigh, North Carolina, for a picnic. Students in the alumni organization DAE helped run the event as part of their fall retreat. August 14 — Charlotte, North Carolina Jeff Beste ’87 brought the Chick-fil-A and provided a campus update at a gathering of Cedarville friends at Calvary Church, a beautiful, window-filled church in Charlotte. August 28 — Charleston, West Virginia Dr. Paul Dixon hosted this event at Bible Center Church, where he is serving as interim pastor.
