ONE IN CHRIST Lynn Paige Caraway'71N and Terry Howie were married November 16, 1997. The Howies reside in Winona Lake, Indiana. Lynn is director of sales for Kitchen Craft Warsaw Company, a distributor of West Bend cookware and specialty steel products. Terry is an officer with the Winona Lake Police Department and owner of Howie Heating and Cooling. Christina Terrill'82N and Thomas Beck were married December 31, 1997. They reside in Kentwood, Michigan with their son, Andrew (12). Tom works in environmental testing. Ruth Yuen'90 and Greg Bliss were married September 28, 1996 in an early Renaissance(1485- 1510)ceremony.They spent their honeymoon touring South Carolina and Georgia and attended the Atlanta Renaissance festival. Ruth is producer of Mission Network News at Cornerstone College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She also does some adjunct teaching at the college. Greg is director of administration at Master Arts Theatre company in Grandville. The couple is expecting their first child in April 1998. Sandra Distler '91 and Thomas Brown were married May 10, 1997 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The couple honeymooned in Easton and Ocean City, Maryland and Williamsburg, Virginia. Sandy is a legal secretary in Hatboro, Pennsylvania and teaches piano in the evenings. Tim is head grower at a greenhouse in Pipersville. Sherry Scheffel'93N and Brian Einhous were married August 3, 1996 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. The couple resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. Sherry is finishing nursing school, and Brian works for Cincinnati Bell Telephone while pursuing a master of business administration degree. Kathy Hinman'92 and John Pierce were married May 17, 1997 and honeymooned in the Grand Cayman Islands. Kathy works in property management for John Buck Co. The Pierces reside in Columbus, Ohio. Jennifer Tyson'93 and Timothy Lee were married April 26, 1997. They hove settled in Argos, Indiana. Kelly Davis'94 and Jason Boyette were married November 22, 1997. The couple honeymooned in the Caribbean and returned to Belleville, Michigan to make their home. Kelly teaches first grade at Calvary Christian Academy. Jason is employed by the engineering company Duckworth & Associates. Dana Gosser'94 and Alan KuIke were married May 17, 1997 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The couple resides in Beech Grove, Indiana. Dana is director of admissions and marketing for Beverly Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, while Alan pursues a degree at Ball State University. Amy McWhinnie'94 and David Mozombite were married June 21, 1997 in Lima, Peru. They honeymooned in Mancora, a beach resort in northern Peru. Living in Peru, the Mozombites work for Summer Institute of Linguistics (SIL), the sister organization of Wycliffe Bible Translators. Gabriella Rajna'94 and Richard Skains were married March 22, 1997 and reside in Cleveland, Ohio. Gabriella earned a master's degree in violin performance and string pedagogy from Ohio University. She and her husband, who is a percussionist, perform together in area orchestras such as the Erie Symphony and the West Virginia Symphony. Rob ToneIli'94 and his wife, Laura, were married July 5, 1997 in Cleveland, Ohio, where they are members at Parkside Church. Rob is a financial analyst for Matrix Essentials, and Laura is pursuing a degree in dental hygiene. Tim Clark'95 and Dawn Henney'97 were married July 12, 1997 in Flint, Michigan. They are now living in Dayton, Ohio. Cyndi Carson '95 and Keith Thompson were married August 30, 1997 in New Brunswick, Canada. After a honeymoon in Key West, Florida, they settled in Florence, South Carolina. Cyndi works at McLeod Regional Medical Center, and Keith is a computer analyst for Soma Products, Inc. Sam Garland'95 and Sarah Mattke'97 were married June 20, 1997 and celebrated their honeymoon on Mackinac Island, Michigan. They reside in Germantown, Wisconsin. Sam is a nursing student at Carroll- Columbia School of Nursing and works at Embrook Hospital. Sarah is an administrative assistant with Fleet Mortgage Group. Bethann Pickell'95 and Jeff Hyatt'97 were married September 6, 1997 and enjoyed a honeymoon at Lake Tahoe. Living in Colorado Springs, both are employed by Westar Media Group. Jeff is a producer, and Bethann does office work. Philip Snyder'95 and Melissa Mocny'96 were married September 13, 1997 and honeymooned at Topsail Island, North Carolina. The 10SPRING'98 Snyders have settled in Camillus, New York. Phil is a branch manager for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. Melissa is a branch administrator at Extra Help Employment Services. Andrew (refeld '96 and Andrea Eimers'95 were married May 17, 1997.The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise. Andrew is a lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and is stationed at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. He is also pursuing a master of business administration degree. The Crefelds reside in O'Fallon, Illinois and are eagerly awaiting an assignment to Germany in August 1998. Kimberly Dorsey'96 and Dan Korhorn were married August 30, 1997. After a honeymoon at Disney World, the Korhorns returned to their home in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Kim is a labor and delivery nurse at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center, and Dan is self-employed. Nathan Huffman '96N and Karmen Huddleston '97 were married August 9, 1997 and enjoyed a honeymoon in Florida. The Huffmans reside in Pleasant Plain, Ohio. Nathan manages a Don Pablo's restaurant, and Karmen teaches second grade at Sugarcreek Elementary in the Bellbrook school district. Tanya Nicholson'96 and Rob Zelem were married November 2, 1996.They enjoyed a honeymoon in Lake Tahoe, Nevada and California. The Zelems reside in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tanya is an information developer for IBM, and Rob is a realtor for Howard Perry and Walston. Ami Owens'96 and John Lightly '96N were married July 12, 1997. After a honeymoon in Virginia Beach,the couple returned to make their home in McDonald, Ohio. Ami is a substitute teacher, and John is a parademic for Clemente- McKay Ambulance. Steven Smith '96 and Christina Ward'99N were married August 2, 1997 in Hilliard, Ohio. After a honeymoon in Bermuda, the Smiths settled in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Steve is a second year student at Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary and director of senior high programming at The Sunshine Church. Amy Woods'96 and John McDowell were married August 15, 1997 and reside in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. The McDowells honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico. Chris Campbell'97 and Debbie Copeland '97 were married July 12, 1997 in Okemos, Michigan. They enjoyed a honeymoon in Nashville, Indiana. Debbie is employed by Cedarville College Career Services, and Chris is a substitute teacher. Beth Hoffman'97 and Brad Wise were married August 2, 1997. They have settled in Hagerstown, Maryland. Derek Johnson '97 and Yoshimi Ikeda'97 were married June 8, 1997. Many of their friends and families from 17 states and several countries joined in the celebration. The Johnsons honeymooned in Washington State and Victoria, British Columbia. Derek is a third grade teacher at a public school in Columbia, South Carolina. Yoshimi has completed a master's degree in Bible from Columbia International University. Jesse Roberts'97 and Kerry Allen'97 were married December 20, 1997 and reside in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Jesse is a thermodynamics engineer, and Kerry is a human resources clerk at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital. Jeff Saunders'97 and Angela Boyce'97 were married October 4, 1997 in Diamond, Pennsylvania and have settled in Racine, Wisconsin. Jeff is employed by Sound Specialty, and Angela works at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center. Jeff Stanton '97 and Melissa Hewitt'97 were married August 15, 1997.They honeymooned at Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and returned to Ft. Wayne, Indiana to make their home. Jeff is a computer specialist at Dana Corp. Melissa is a preschool and computer teacher. Melany Trimble'97 and Elias Tiago were married January 3, 1998.The Tiagos reside in northwestern Brazil. Jeff is associate professor of physical education and men's basketball head coach at Cedarville College. Larry'80 and Kathy Payne Flood '80 announce the hi th of Jennifer Renee on September 14, 1997.The Floods reside in Norwalk, Connecticut. Dave'81 and Carol Sue Cox Merkh'82 announce the addition of Tamires, a 10-year-old Brazilian orphan, to their family on October 2, 1997. Her adoption will be completed within one year. The Merkhs are missionaries at Word of Life Seminary in Soo Paulo, Brazil. Dave is also pursuing a doctor of ministry degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. Alan '82 and Donna Dennis Green'83 announce the birth of David Alan on July 28, 1997. He joins siblings Nicole(10), Danielle(8), Bethany (5), and Stephen (3). The Greens live in Lakeland, Florida. Vini Jaquery'82 and his wife, Alexandra, announce the birth of Julia an April 17, 1997. She joins siblings Chip(5)and Gabriella (3). Vini is executive director for International Reach, which facilitates adoption of Brazilian orphans. Mark'82 and Dawn Ostrum Mathews'84 announce the birth of John Caleb on November 26, 1997. He joins siblings Melissa (12), Daniel (9), Greg (7), and Emily (4). Mark is director of recreational activities for the Cedarville College Campus Activities Office, and Dawn cares for the children at home. Mark and Dawn educate their children at home and are actively involved at Calvary Baptist Church in Xenia, Ohio.
