Inspire 29 80s Kevin Masters ’80 has joined Syracuse University’s College of Arts and Sciences as associate professor in the department of psychology. He also serves as director of clinical training. Kevin resides in Manlius, New York. Ruth Yocom ’80 has left Bangladesh due to a medical concern and the need for follow- up care from her hip surgery. She is now in Hilliard, Ohio. Her heart is burdened for the employees of Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh. Pray along with her that the weekly Bible studies will burden the unsaved and bear fruit in the lives of the saved. Rebecca Payton Konuch ’84 and her husband, Tim, and their two sons, Jonathan and Benjamin, serve the Lord in England. Tim is a pastor at Great Whyte Baptist Church and is also the chair of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) church planting committee. Aaron ’85 and Anne Grosse Bowes ’87 were excited about all of the good opportunities they had to share the light of the gospel with the unsaved during the Christmas season in Germany. They have four children, Hanna, Philip, Kathrin, and Emily. Tony Pepe ’85 and his wife, Kathy, are very proud of the youth at their church in France. There have been decisions for Christ and spiritual growth. Their daughter, Karie, will attend college in the States this fall. Pray for the transition for her and the family. Grant Williams ’85 has been transferred to the Troy (Ohio) office of the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock, and Stone, P.L.C. He is an associate in the real estate group. Grant and his family currently reside in Oakland Township, Michigan. Amy Dykes Snook ’86 is a homeschooling mother of five: Matthew (10), Timothy (8), Michaela (6), Christopher (4), and Rose (2). The family resides in Wolverine, Michigan and attends Walloon Lake Community Church, where Amy is a ladies’ Bible study teacher. Her husband, Mike, works in construction and went on a missions trip to Jamaica in November 2004 to repair damage from Hurricane Ivan at the Caribbean Christian Center for the Deaf. Peter Wright ’86 and his wife, Sonya, serve with ABWE in Chile, where they are involved with a recording studio ministry. The Wrights have a daughter, Megan. Thurman Payton ’87 received his master of divinity degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in May 2004. He is the lead pastor at Lighthouse Community Church in Williamston, Michigan. Dave ’87 and Val Hite Smallman ’85 saw souls saved as their church in Brazil went through the 40 Days of Purpose. They are pleased that their small group ministry continues to develop and grow. Pray for a smooth transition as they start their furlough this spring. Tom Fite ’88 is the director for On Goal Ministries, a ministry that uses soccer to reach kids for Christ. On Goal holds early spring camps in the United Kingdom and a summer camp ministry in the greater Cincinnati area. They also plan to hold a six-week soccer clinic for the Boys and Girls Clubs of greater Cincinnati this spring. Jonathan Golden ’88 was ordained to the priesthood on November 7, 2004 by the Rt. Rev. John K. Rucyahana of Rwanda. Jill Slayton Puett ’88 and her husband, Stephen, announce the birth of Mary Lee on November 15, 2004. The Puetts are on furlough from Guyana. 90s Jodie Patterson Gandolfi ’90 was commissioned by an Australian newspaper to travel to Los Angeles to attend “Australia Week” festivities. Jodie photographed and interviewed prominent Australians such as Nicole Kidman, Mel Gibson, Rupert Murdock, and Keith Urban. A freelance journalist, Jodie resides in Cedarville, Ohio, with her husband, Franco, and children, Giorgia and Luca. Mindy Brandenburg Stinger ’90 and her husband, David, announce the birth of Allison Kay on November 10, 2002. The Stingers also had a son, Michael David, who was born silently on November 24, 2004, and they look forward to meeting him in heaven some day. David is a bakery manager for Kroger, and Mindy is privileged to be a stay-at-home mom after a 12-year career as an administrative assistant. The Stingers reside in New Carlisle, Ohio and attend Southgate Baptist Church. Kelly Fath ’91 has been serving the Lord in Romania since September 2004. He is thankful for his prayer partners and how the Lord worked out all the details for him to get to Romania. Continue to pray that he progresses in his language studies and that he is able to integrate into the singles group at his church. Lara McGovern Allen ’92 and her husband, Brad, announce the arrival of Zachary Thomas on July 28, 2004. The Allens maintain a Christian transitional home for people struggling with addictions in inner-city Denver, Colorado. Brian Belh ’92 and his wife, Kirsten, announce the birth of Liam Russell on November 8, 2004. Brian received a master of divinity in missions degree from Columbia Biblical Seminary and is currently a doctoral candidate in historical and theological studies at Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Kirsten is an assistant registrar at Westminster. The Belhs are members of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Jason Bishop ’92 and his wife, Heidi, announce the birth of Elise Catherine on November 12, 2004. Jason is the assistant superintendent at Penfield Country Club in Penfield, New York. He is also the part-time athletic director at Webster Christian School and coaches the boys’ varsity basketball team. Ralph ’92 and Gia Wood Ciotola ’92 announce the birth of Alex Angelo on July 29, 2004. He joins his brothers, Nicolas (9) and Anthony (4), at home in Marysville, Ohio. Ralph is a transportation supervisor with Excel Logistics, and Gia stays home with the boys. Nathan ’94 and Karen Beck Gill ’95 announce the birth of Grant Spencer on November 6, 2003. His sister, Emily (5), welcomed him home in Newark, Ohio. Nathan and Karen are members at Bible Baptist Church, where Nathan serves as a deacon and teen Sunday school teacher. Nathan recently accepted a position as vice president and branch manager of the Newark office for Broadview Mortgage Company. Karen works part- time as an outpatient surgery nurse. Debbie Koch Glosson ’94 and her husband, Chris, announce the birth of Sarah Kate. She joins her siblings, Zachary (5) and Grace (2), in Medina, Ohio. Debbie is a stay-at-home mom. Dana Gosser Kulke ’94 and her husband, Alan, announce the birth of Hope Lauren on May 6, 2004. She was welcomed home by her sister, Hannah (2), in Indianapolis, Indiana. Alan is a store manager for Target, and Dana enjoys staying home with the girls. Joseph ’94 and Melanie Dawson Lausin ’95 announce the birth of Elizabeth Kay on August 10, 2004. She joins her siblings, Benjamin (4) and Suzanna (2), at home in Thompson, Ohio. Joe is self-employed, and Melanie stays home with the children.
