32 Spring 2005 Kelly enjoys being a stay-at-home mom. They reside in Webster, New York. Lee Reinhard ’99 and his wife, Courtney, announce the birth of Isaac David on February 12, 2004. Big brothers Garrett, Andrew, and Tyler awaited his arrival in DeGraff, Ohio. 2000s Amie Bockstahler ’00 has joined the staff of the Pacific Garden Mission/Gospel League Home in Chicago. First introduced to Pacific Garden Mission through a Spring Break ministry trip, Amie will serve as a nurse in the ministry’s medical/dental clinic. Derek ’00 and Rachel Griffin Chandler ’99 announce the birth of Lydia Kay on January 6, 2004. Big sister Alexis (2) welcomed her home in Delton, Michigan. Derek is a product engineer at Flexfab LLC, and Rachel enjoys taking care of the girls. Ann Marie Swartz Schrader ’00 and her husband, David, announce the birth of Joel Anthony on September 11, 2004. Ann Marie worked as a medical social worker at the local hospital before leaving her job to stay home with Joel. David is involved in livestock marketing, farming, and auctioneering. The Schraders reside in Freeport, Illinois. JeriAnn Goodbar Wolters ’00 and her husband, Hinnerk, announce the birth of Troy Dirk on October 9, 2004. JeriAnn has her own business as a strength and conditioning coach, and Hinnerk is the production manager for Trelay Seed Company. The family resides in Livingston, Wisconsin. Heather Fankhauser Farran ’01 and her husband, Kyle, announce the birth of Emily Grace. She was born March 4, 2004 and was welcomed home by her sister, Abby (2). The Farrans are heading to Durban, South Africa with ABWE to work with an HIV/AIDS ministry. Stephen ’01 and Jessica Schmidt Hand ’02 announce the birth of Isaac William on August 25, 2004. Stephen is the director of instrumental and student worship at First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jessica is an elementary school music teacher. Chris Hutchinson ’01 and Mandy Herd ’03 were married July 3, 2004 in Colorado Springs, Colorado and enjoyed a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. Chris and Mandy reside in Cedarville, where they both work at Cedarville University. Mandy is the events coordinator in career services, and Chris is on the custodial staff. Matt Martin ’01 and Janice McBride were married April 3, 2004 at Fort Sam Houston Main Post Chapel in San Antonio, Texas. The couple then moved to Fort Lewis, Washington, where Matt was stationed until he was deployed to Iraq in July 2004. He returned home in February 2005, and he and Janice went to Hawaii for a delayed honeymoon. Rebekah Thompson Pitz ’01 and her husband, Greg, announce the birth of Elisa Marae on May 26, 2004. Greg is a physicist at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The family resides in Huber Heights, Ohio. Ryan ’01 and Amy Fenton Roesler ’01 announce the birth of Mackenzie Elizabeth on October 8, 2004. Ryan is the athletic director at Chapel Christian Academy in Limerick, Pennsylvania. Amy enjoys staying home with Mackenzie. Timothy ’01 and Sabrina Springer Ropp ’01 announce the birth of Melinda Anne on July 23, 2004. They reside in Columbus, Ohio, where Tim is a chemist. After three years of medical school, Sabrina changed course and now runs a photography studio out of her home so that she can be with Melinda. David Skinner ’01 and Gillian Boucher ’03 were married August 1, 2003 in Syracuse, New York. After a honeymoon in Kauai, the couple returned to their home in Ada, Ohio. They stayed in Ohio for one year while David completed his first year of law school and Gillian worked at Lima Memorial Hospital as a medical librarian. They recently relocated to Kauai, where they plan to spend a year before returning to Ohio so that David can finish law school. Rebecca DeSantis Emmott ’02 and her husband, Lukas, announce the birth of Eliora Simhah on July 30, 2004. Her name means “God is my light and my joy.” The Emmotts reside at Bethany Camp in Sinclairville, New York, where Lukas works in the maintenance department and Rebecca takes care of Eliora. Will Jenks ’02 bagged his first deer on September 22, 2004 in the Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness of central Idaho. This success followed 15 long, fruitless hunting seasons. Eric Mitchell ’02 and Erin Vallowe ’01 were married August 7, 2004 in Elyria, Ohio. Eric is in his second year at Medical College of Ohio, and Erin is a third grade teacher. They reside in Toledo, Ohio. Ryan Sharp ’02 and his wife, Michelle, announce the birth of Riley Christopher on July 24, 2004. Ryan is a probation officer with the Marion County Superior Courts, and Michelle works at a local day care. They reside in Indianapolis, Indiana. JoAnne Willett ’02 and Doug Simmons were married September 10, 2004 on the beach in St. Augustine, Florida, with a small group of family, friends, and Cedarville alumni attending. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Florida and a cruise to the Bahamas. JoAnne is a freelance writer/editor and works in public relations for a hospital, while Doug works for an accounting firm. They reside in Malvern, Ohio. Matthew Bozzuto ’03 and Jessica Hunt ’03 were married December 6, 2003 at County Line Baptist Church in Beavercreek, Ohio. Jessica is an elementary special education teacher, and Matt is an engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. They reside in Bellbrook, Ohio. Danielle Davidson ’03 serves in Cape Town, South Africa with the missionary organization Ambassadors in Sport. Anna Farwell ’03 and Mark Tipton were married November 26, 2004 in Sandpoint, Idaho.
