This makes her, according to AiG, the first female Ph.D. scientist currently engaged in full-time research/lecturing for a “literal Genesis” creationist organization. Georgia says this job fulfills a dream that she has had for several years, after she noticed that there were not many women engaged in even part-time creation research and lecturing. With a Ph.D. in molecular genetics from The Ohio State University, Georgia is currently an associate professor of biology at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Her work in the creationist movement includes the presentation “The Intelligent Design Movement: How Intelligent Is It?” (which is available on DVD) and a chapter in the new AiG book War of the Worldviews. More information about Georgia and her materials is available at www.answersingenesis.org . A First in Creation Research Chris, Georgia (Hickman) ’94 , and Elizabeth Purdom
