a lumnotes Benjamin Swanson ’06 and Chelsie Hoffman ’08 were married on July 26, 2009. Ben works in security at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Chelsie is a substitute teacher. They live in Seattle, Washington. Aaron Briggs ’07 and Brittney Bowman ’07 were married on July 5, 2008. Aaron is a mechanical engineer with Exelon Corporation, and Brittney is a teacher. They reside in Marlton, New Jersey. Nichole (Mouw) Douglass ’07 and her husband, Matt, announce the birth of Madelyn Grace on July 1, 2009. Nichole is a registered nurse for Advantage Health. They live in Hudsonville, Michigan. Yellow Jackets Reconnect at Cedarville During this year’s Alumni Basketball Weekend, held on February 6, dozens of former Yellow Jackets swarmed the Callan Athletic Center. They enjoyed catching up with one another, playing in alumni games, and attending the men’s and women’s varsity games. The alumni players had the opportunity to meet the current players and enjoy a meal with the teams. Everyone appreciated the chance to reconnect with alumni and the ’Ville during this memorable weekend! 38 SPRING 2010
