The audience enjoyed beloved American classics by Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Samuel Barber, and Leonard Bernstein. The concert was part of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s “American Landscapes” series. “This is the second time we have done an event at Symphony on the Prairie, and I know we will be back,” said Jon Collins ’05, a member of the Indianapolis Chapter leadership team. “It’s a great environment to reconnect with friends and even meet new ones.” Since 2005, the Indianapolis Chapter has been holding events like this one and gatherings at Indianapolis Indians baseball games to connect alumni, parents, students, and prospective students. “I enjoy being involved in the chapter because I believe in Cedarville,” Jon said. “I have a 360-degree view of Cedarville as a student, a staff member, and now as an alumnus. What I have seen from every angle confirms what I have always known: Cedarville is not just about preparing students for a career; it’s about preparing them for a life that glorifies Christ.” Learn more about alumni chapters and find one in your area!
