Janice (Finke) Morris ’42 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on October 23, 2011. She taught kindergarten for 25 years at Ernst Elementary in the Kettering school system. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, painting, singing in the choir, and traveling. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, William; and her sisters, Susanna Teepe and Kathryn (Finke) Jurkat ’40 . She is survived by her daughter, Annette McCreadie (Bruce); her son, Thomas (Angela); and granddaughters. Aldon “Arch” Justus ’50 of Sciotoville, Ohio, passed away February 3, 2012. Arch was a teacher, principal, administrator, and high school basketball coach. He was inducted into the Ohio High School Athletic Association Basketball Hall of Fame in 1987 and the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1995. Arch was also an avid golfer and passionate about baseball. He was preceded in death by his father, Aldon; mother, Blanche Justus Hunter; wife, Joann; and a sister and brother. He is survived by his sons, John (Mary Ann) and Jeff (Michele); stepson, Kip Williams (Cheryl); stepdaughter, Kim Crum (Norman); two grandchildren; and two nephews. Donald Rettger ’54 of Columbiaville, Michigan, passed away September 21, 2011. He was a World War II Navy veteran and retired from the maintenance department at Ohio Northern University. He also served as pastor and interim pastor at several Ohio churches. He and his wife moved to Michigan in 2009. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; two daughters, Donna Rezutko (Jeff) and Anne Vince (Edward); two sons, John (Carol) and Tim (Kelly); seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Melvin E. Entingh ’55 of Washington Township, Ohio, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012. Mel founded and was CEO of Enting Water Conditioning, Inc. He holds a patent on a drinking water control valve. In 2000 he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Water Quality Association.
