The Grand Marshall of the 1993 Homecoming Parade was Dr. Ron Walker, professor of management science. Dr. Walker has taught at Cedarville since 1978 and recently stepped down after serving as chair of the Department of Business Administration since 1986. His wife, Becky, rode with him in the parade. Cedarville College has added a new stewardship development officer, Mr. Chuck Worrell. He will assist Dr. Dixon and Dr. Martin Clark in attracting resources to the College and expanding Cedarville's constituency. Chuck most recently held the position of executive vice president at Subaru of America, Inc. He says,"I look forward to meeting members of the College family across the country. My wife, Anne,and I are excited about moving to Cedarville and joining fully in the Cedarville experience." The sign-in alumni board provides information on who attends Homecoming.Jon Skillman'67 signs in so friends and classmates will know he and Katy (Griffin)'69 are participating in the 1993 activities. Membersfrom the class of 1973 enjoy their 20 year reunion with a picnic luncheon. Thanks to Yvonna McGhee for heading up the gathering. Tammie Whitaker '86, Beth Britton Meyers'85, and Jane Romig Brooker'86, took third, second,and first place, respectively, in the women's division of the annual 5K Road Run. Joining classmates at the 1988 reunion luncheon are Mark Groves (r)from Anchorage, Alaska, and Mike, Missy (Hall), and three-month-old Jordan Green of Lakeland, Florida. DeMaurice Smith '85, serves as assistant district attorney in Washington, D.C. His motivation for serving in the inner- city atmosphere is Jesus. De painted a clear picture of young children growing up in today's inner-city environment and how we as Christians can provide hope for those devasted by the crimes they have witnessed. De and his wife, Karen, live in Kensington. Maryland. De also serves on the Alumni Council. The 1903 simit team of the Master's Puppets provides special entertainment for children while moms and dads enjoy the All Alumni Chapel service The next generation of Cedarville College students learned about puppets and participated in the sing-a-long. Classmates and families of the class of 1978 celebrate their 15 year reunion with an ice cream social. Members of the BBI class gather for a delicious dinner in the President's Dining Room.1993 marks the 40th anniversary of the merger of Cedarville College and Baptist Bible Institute of Cleveland. Eileen Freisen Unger '88 provides special music on Thursday of Alumni Week in Chapel. The Class of 1963 enjoys riding in the parade to celebrate their 30 year reunion. The class also attended the Prism Concert and enjoyed a luncheon in the President's Dining Room. During Tuesday's chapel, Ruth Fareno Longenecker'83 challenges the students to take risks. Ruth has traveled to five continents on short term mission trips since graduation. Ruth also teaches first grade. She and her husband, Craig, live in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Tim Kaufman '77 leads the student body in worship during Wednesday's chapel service. Tim is a song evangelist and travels around the world to proclaim the name of Christ. He and his wife, Alicia, have four children,two of whom they homeschool.The Kaufmans reside in Orlando, Florida. Ten ladies'w particite in the alutimae volleybaa match. Margaret Brewer Witham '68, Marleen Schonscheck Gaffner'68, and Elaine Johnson Vaughn '68 enjoy getting together during their 25th reunion. Mark'67 and Beth Ziegler Trimble '67 include Homecoming 1993 in their furlough plans. Since Mark and Beth reside in Cedarville when in the States,they enjoyed all the festivities. The Trimbles serve with Baptist Mid- Missions in Amazonas, Brazil. 5 WINTER'93
