Inspire 23 Dwight ’91 and Joan Saucier Schulz ’91 announce the birth of Andrew Dwight on May 9, 2001. They reside in Elkhart, Indiana, where Dwight is a cost accountant with Skyline Corporation, and Joan is a fourth grade teacher in the Elkhart Community Schools. Shawn Abbott Burke ’92 and her husband, Patrick, announce the birth of Summer Grace on September 11, 2000. They reside in Keedysville, Maryland. Brent ’92 and JoAnn Freyermuth Davis ’89 announce the birth of Charles Barton on April 10, 2001. Chase joins his siblings, Caitlin (7), Celeste (5), and Connor (2), in Xenia, Ohio. Brent teaches at Dayton Christian High School and is the assistant coach of the Cedarville University men’s soccer team. JoAnn works one day a week at Children’s Hospital in the pediatric intensive care unit and also enjoys home-schooling Caitlin and Celeste. Lori Lindner French ’92 and her husband, Dave, are getting back to life in Manila after enjoying their furlough. They are excited that a new school year has started and look forward to getting to know the new students. Ruth Harton ’92 and Paul Kennedy were married August 11, 2001 at the Church of the Nazarene in Lavelle, Pennsylvania. After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, West Indies, the couple made their home in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Paul is the production manager of Kennedy Concrete and is in his senior year of studying applied mathematics at Penn State University. Ruth is the principal of Cressona Christian School. She recently completed the coursework for a doctorate in curriculum and instruction at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is working on her dissertation. Susan Nicholson Houser ’92 and her husband, Morgan, announce the birth of Audrey Maria on October 15, 2000. She was welcomed home by her brother, Isaac (3), in LaVale, Maryland. Steven Kelly ’92 and his wife, Jincy, were married March 17, 2001. Steven is a church planter in the Bronx with His Glory Bible Fellowship. He received his master of urban ministry degree from Alliance Theological Seminary. Jincy is a journalist from India and plans to 90s Jennifer Schritz Butcher ’90 and her husband, John, announce the births of their three sons. Mathias John was born on May 6, 1997; Cass Burton was born on November 11, 1999; and Job Elias was born on May 10, 2001. Their son, Cass, was taken home to be with the Lord when he was five months old. They reside in Grafton, Ohio. Mike Davis ’90 is the director of sales and marketing at the Davenport, Iowa-based Treetop Studios. His studio has produced the popular “Tails from the Ark” video series. Molly Reeves Enos ’90 and her husband, Keith, announce the birth of Lauren Rebecca on February 22, 2001. She joins her sister, Katie (2), at home in New Alexandria, Pennsylvania. Shelly Lemponen Krull ’90 and her husband, William, announce the birth of Jared William on April 25, 2001. God’s grace is evident in Jared’s life as he was born six weeks early. He continues to grow healthier and stronger each day. They reside in Columbus, Ohio, where Shelly enjoys being a full-time mom after 10 years of teaching. William works for a local landscaping company. Rod ’90 and Sara Taylor Perkins ’94 were encouraged by the 113 children that attended Vacation Bible School this summer in Cape Town, South Africa. They have enjoyed becoming acquainted with two of the young churches in South Africa and look forward to reporting to their supporting churches in the States during their upcoming furlough. Kelly Marsh ’91 and Daniel Nelson were married May 19, 2001. Several Cedarville alumni participated in the wedding. After enjoying a honeymoon in Mexico, the Nelsons now work and reside in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Allan Otten ’91 and his wife, Jodi, announce the birth of Abigail Auguste on July 2, 2001. Allan is a production quality department auditor at Greenville Technology, Inc., and Jodi is a general manager at a Bob Evans Restaurant. They live in Pleasant Hill, Ohio, where they attend Pleasant Hill Church of God. Allan enjoys teaching Sunday school to fourth through sixth grade students. Mark Russell ’91 is an associate certified public accountant at Spencer/Miller & Associate CPAs. He and his wife, Tonya, have two children, Austin (8) and Macy (6), and reside in Clinton, Indiana. Lydia Thornton Ruhl ’87 and her husband, Michael, announce the birth of Courtney Rose on February 28, 2000. They reside in Simpsonville, South Carolina. Tom ’87 and Brenda Jo Gust Simic ’87 announce the birth of Sarah Maria. She was born December 12, 2000 and was welcomed home by her siblings, David (11), Jonathan (9), and Hannah Jo (3). Tom is a part-time youth pastor with Korean youth and manages a Blockbuster video store. Brenda is an emergency room nurse. They reside in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Lois Cummings Frasier ’88 and her husband, Daniel, announce the birth of Laura Elise on March 21, 2000. Dawson (6) and Paige (3) awaited her arrival in Woburn, Massachusetts. Lynell Smith ’88 , missionary to Brazil, enjoyed visiting her supporting churches while on furlough from July through November. She was encouraged and challenged during the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism Missionary Enrichment Conference and Training Institute in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in July 2001. Michael ’89 and Julie George Ayres ’91 announce the birth of Parker Donovan on August 22, 2001. His siblings, Caitlin (6), Alannah (2), and Logan (2), welcomed him home in Medina, Ohio. Jodie Patterson Gandolfi ’89 and her husband, Franco, announce the birth of Giorgia Lydia Rose on August 23, 2001. Jodie is a journalist, and Franco is dean of business and law at a university in Sydney, Australia. Beth Morse Natalello ’89 and her husband, Richard, announce the birth of Nicholas Paul on March 2, 2001. Beth is the assistant principal at Greenbrier Christian Academy in Chesapeake, Virginia. Richard is the manager of the department of electronics at Sears. They reside in Chesapeake, Virginia. Dea Shaw ’89 and Keith Hamilton were married October 7, 2000 and honeymooned in Hawaii. Keith owns his own business, and Dea manages clinical research studies with Glaxo Smith Kline. They attend Colonial Baptist Church in Cary and reside in Apex, North Carolina.
