Inspire 31 What’ s Abuzz Fall Play Delights Audiences How do you deal with an overbearing, hypochondriac father who wants to marry his daughter to an idiotic doctor? By laughing. Molière’s classic comedy The Imaginary Invalid , produced by Cedarville University’s theatre program, kept audiences smiling. The show was directed by Donald N. C. Jones and was performed by Cedarville University students. Faculty Composer Premieres Latest Work His works have been performed on every continent except Antarctica. He has received dozens of awards in composition and holds degrees in music from three universities. And yet, for all his achievements, only now has Dr. Steven Winteregg, dean of the School of Humanities and professor of composition, presented one of his most personally meaningful pieces with the world premiere of his original composition Resolution (performed by the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra). Resolution is dedicated to Steven’s wife, Candy, and focuses on her recent battle with cancer. Throughout the piece, the audience travels through the stages of her struggle. According to Steven, the title of the piece “refers to the fight and determination that Candy exhibited through her operation and treatment, but it also signifies the constant search for finality throughout the whole experience.” 2007 Year Starts with Fall Bible Conference Noted author, speaker, and international radio host Ron Hutchcraft served as the featured speaker at the 2007 Cedarville University Fall Bible Conference. Ron spoke five times during the four-day conference. Ron is a 43-year veteran of youth and family work, president of Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, and a visiting faculty member at the Billy Graham Schools of Evangelism. He has also authored Called to Greatness , The Battle for a Generation , Five Needs Your Child Must Have Met at Home , and Ten Time Bombs — Defusing the Most Explosive Pressures Teenagers Face . Ron is the radio host of Realtime , A Word with You , and Call to Greatness , which are heard on hundreds of radio stations in the U.S. and internationally.
