Even though more recent modern translations have increased in popularity, the KJV stills stands as the masterpiece of the English language. Over four hundred years after its first printing, the King James Bible continues to have worldwide influence, retaining its place as the most influential book and Bible ever published. READ the King James Bible interactive guidebook with links to several of the oldest Bibles in the university special collections. LISTEN to a museum-quality audio tour of the current exhibit. VISIT the exhibit in person in the Centennial Library and listen to the audio tour while admiring the artifacts on display. “The King James Bible - A Translation for the Ages” exhibit was curated by Lynn Brock, University Archivist.
