Recent publications by the Digital Commons include three Spring 2022 journal issues. Musical Offerings, published by the Department of Music and Worship, is now in its 13th year and has garnered over 229,000 downloads of its content during that time. The most recent issue includes articles on the Fisk Jubiliee Singers, Richard Wagner’s Ring Cycle, and the political affiliations of Aaron Copland. Articles in Channels, the university’s inter-disciplinary undergraduate research journal published by the Department of Communication and the Centennial Library, have been downloaded at over 3200 institutions in 186 countries. The Spring 2022 issue includes articles on the Conway-Norton monstrous moonshine conjecture and on immune responses to Adenovirus-26 based vaccines. The Cedarville Review, Cedarville’s annual undergraduate literary and arts journal published by the Department of English, Literature, and Modern Languages, has now provided our students an opportunity to showcase their creativity since 1996. The spring issue includes student poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and photography. DIGITAL COMMONS PUBLISHING CORNER Library Careers Program: Fall 2022 Internship Journal Issues - Spring 2022 The Centennial Library internship provides undergraduate students with an opportunity to discover if a library career and graduate school for the Master of Library & Information Science degree is a good fit for their skills and interests. Interns engage in a variety of activities, projects, and presentations with the Centennial Library staff and librarians, as well as taking field trips to a professional conference and other libraries. The 2022 interns are Professional Writing & Information Design major Morgan Rupp and English major Hannah Smith. 50 students have participated in the program since it was created by instructor Julie Deardorff in 2007. The 3-credit internship course is offered in cooperation with the Department of English, Literature & Modern Languages.
