Kasey Rising (Tiger Lily) , age 22, is a senior theatre major with a minor in women’s ministry. Katy E. Russell (Duchess) , age 20, is a sophomore communication arts major with an emphasis in journalism and a minor in theatre. Her professional goal is to find a job that will keep her busy, push her to be creative, and allow her to constantly meet new people. Her favorite quotation comes from a beloved choir director: “Hard work is fun when improvement is evident.” She wants to thank everyone in the cast for being fabulous and making work so much fun! Ben Scheerschmidt (Tweedledum) , age 19, is a freshman with a double major in music and theatre and a minor in French. He hopes to go “to Broadway, Hollywood, or wherever God takes me!” His favorite verse is I Samuel 17:45, and he would like to thank his whole family for being there for him in everything. Paul Smith (March Hare), age 19, is a sophomore business management major with minors in organizational communications and French. His professional goal is to be an event coordinator in a hotel, and his favorite quotation is, “Maturity is a bitter disappointment for which no remedy exists, unless laughter can be said to remedy anything." Erik Strebig (Mock Turtle) , age 18, is a freshman with majors in theatre and communication arts. He plans to pursue a minor in philosophy. His favorite quotation is, “Always remember you are unique. Just like everyone else!” Nathan Terra (Tweedledee) , age 19, is an middle childhood education major with a theatre minor. He plans to become a theatre and language arts teacher. “I would like to thank my parents and family for their full support of my theatrical exploits and their encouragement to serve the Lord in all I do.” Alexander T. Vaughan (Stage Manager) , age 20, is a junior chemistry major who plans to pursue dentistry as a profession. His favorite quotation is, “God comes to us in theatre in the way we communicate with each other, whether it be a symphony orchestra or a wonderful ballet or a beautiful painting or a play. It’s a way of expressing our humanity.” —Julie Harris. Bethany M. Wailes (White Queen) , age 19, is a freshman nursing major. “I would like to thank my family and friends for always supporting me and telling me to audition. Thank you, Dr. Merchant, for taking a chance on me. I love Psalm 103, and my favorite quotation is simply, ‘Live, laugh, love.’" Tom Worrall (White Rabbit) , age 22, is a senior theatre major with a minor in psychology. Daniel Edward Zimmerman (Seven of Spades) , age 20, has a major in criminal justice and a minor in theatre.
