Time: The 1880s Place: In and around the Keller homestead in Tuscumbia, Alabama; also, briefly, the Perkins Institution for the Blind in Boston. There will be a 15-minute intermission between Acts I and II and a 10-minute intermission between Acts II and III. BIOS Amanda Allen (Blind Girl) - Mandi is a junior graphic design major from Wellington, Ohio. She appeared in several plays throughout high school (two of which were roles as blind women!). She also appeared last year in TheBoys Next Door. This is her DeVries Theatre debut. Laura K. Anfang (Helen) - Laura is a senior early childhood education major. She is thrilled to have the honor of portraying such a phenomenal woman. Past credits at Cedarville include Crossing Delancey and My Fair Lady. Many thanks to her Savior for His abounding grace and the opportunity to glorify Him in such an awesome way! Liz Baker (Aunt Ev) - Liz is a senior social work major from Springfield, Ohio. Last year she performed in My Fair Lady, but her true debut on Cedarville’s stage was 18 years ago, when she played Helen in the opening of The Miracle Worker. Emily Bush (Blind Girl) - Emily is a junior comprehensive theatre major. She loves expressing herself through art, both on stage and off, and praises God for the passion He's instilled within her. She has been blessed by her involvement in this production and hopes you enjoy the show! Jazmine Cook (Stage Manager) - Jazmine is a senior theatre design major from Felton, Delaware. She stage managed last years mainstage production of An Ideal Husband. Thanks to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Mom, Dad, Flea, and Phil. “Thank you for everything. Love you all.” Andrea Davis (Viney) - Andrea is a sophomore early childhood education major from Odenton, Maryland. She enjoys baking, watching movies, and spending time with her family and friends. “Thanks, Mom and Dad, for all the love and support over the years! ” Jessica Diane Hickling (Annie Sullivan) - Jessica is a junior theatre design and performance major. She is currently playing a dream role and would like to thank Don for this amazing opportunity. “I would not be here without the love and support of my family. I love you guys!” Jordan T. Hickling (Keller) - Jordan is a junior theatre performance major who is extremely passionate and ambitious about the craft of acting and through which he desires to honor and glorify God by using his gifts in the film industry. “Virginia!” Frank Peer (Doctor) - Frank is a junior electronic media major from Worthington, Ohio.This is his debut on Cedarville’s main stage since his student-directed theatre experience in TheBoys Next Door and Flowers forAlgernon. Frank also may be heard on Resound Radio. Caleb Price (Young Boy) - Caleb, 12, is a seventh-grade homeschoolerwho loves sports, fishing, cooking, and eating. He has performed in several children's musicals at church, including Who Is Like the Lord?, Shine Bright, and Born toWorship. Caleb also plays violin.
