Three Alumnl Join Faculty This fall, two members of the class of 1964 and one of 1975 joined the faculty of Cedarville College. Dr. Clifford Johnson, Academic Dean, stated he is exceptionally pleased to have these high quality instructors join the Cedarville family. Rev. David Warren, Associate Professor, is teaching Greek and other subjects in the Bible Department. Dave, his wife, Patricia (Schonscheck '63), and their four children came to Cedarville from Iowa where Dave was an Associate Professor at Faith Baptist Bible College for four years. Dave received his Th.M. in 1968 from The Dallas Theological Seminary where he specialized in Hebrew. He also served as pastor of the Champion Baptist Church in Warren, Ohio, and a board member of Skyview Ranch. A recipient of the President's Award, Dave evidenced outstanding leadership ability as a student at Cedarville. Also a 1964 graduate, Sue (Geyser) Cummins received her M.A. in Business Education in 1969 and her Ph.D. in Vocational Technical Education in 1974 from The Ohio State University. She taught in various high schools for six years, including Beavercreek High School near Dayton, and for four years on the college level at Ohio University. Sue and husband Jim are active members of the Berean Baptist Church of Pickerington, Ohio. Sue is an Assistant Professor in charge of the Secretarial Science program. Sarah (Harriman) Smith, a 1975 alumna, also joined the Business Department as an Assistant Professor. Sarah received her M.A. in 1976 and has completed all but her dissertation for a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Sarah and husband Barry, M.A., C.P.A., live in Cedarville. M. EARLE COLLINS TRIBUTE (Continued from Page 1) Dr. Collins is survived by his wife, Mary, and four children. A daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hogue, lives in Salem, Oregon. Gordon, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Psychology at The College of Wooster (Ohio). Robert is a missionary in Thailand, and John is a faculty member at the University of Missouri. There are fourteen grandchildren. M. Earle Collins once said, "We are a part of all whom we have met." He has touched our lives with his faithfulness to Christian service and by his love and leadership within his family. May the qualities and virtues he displayed each day challenge us. Friday, October 17, 1980 6 p.m. - Class reunions, and alumni reception (all alumni) 1975-5th 1950-30th 1925-55th 1970-10th 1945 - 35th 1920-60th 1965-15th 1940-40th 1915-65th 1960-20th 1935-45th 1910-lOth 1955-25th 1930-50th 1905-75th 8 p.m. - Prism I As a prism reflects light and displays many colors, this evening of entertainment is designed to feature the variety and depth of talent Cedarville College has within its family of students and faculty. 10 p.m. - Ice Cream Social (all alumni) Following the concert will be an extended opportunity for fellowship while enjoying a tasty, old fashioned, fix-your-own ice cream sundae. The ice cream is provided with the compliments of your Alumni Association. This weekend for gathering alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends will be a time for reminiscing and reflecting on God's abundant provision! Plan to be a part of this exciting weekend. DEATHS (Continued from Page 6) Miriam "Mlm" Greiner Cotter (66N), of Burkburnett, Texas, went to be with the Lord on August 8, 1980. She was 36. Even though Mim was born with a serious heart ailment, she lived an eventful, busy life. After leaving Cedarville she taught at Lorain County Detention Home. Later at Greenwich, Ohio, she taught special education for several years. Also, she served as Sunday School teacher, ch ildren's worker, and church secretary. Mim used her art talent, painting many beautiful wall murals for homes, churches, and schools. Those who knew Miriam were enriched by her testimony and the way she portrayed the love of God. She is survived by her husband, Luther. Janet (McClelen 17) Collins died August 2, 1980. She was in failing health for a number of years and was cared for by her husband until entering a convalescent home in Xenia, Ohio. Janet was a sister-in- · law of the late M. Earle Collins. Her husband, John (17), who farmed in the Cedarville area most of his life, presently resides in a convalescent home in Chillicothe, Ohio.
