David Jeremiah Urges A Disciplined Life Dr. David Jeremiah challenged a capacity audience and radio listeners to a disciplined life during the last Fall Bible Conference to be held in the James T. Jeremiah Chapel. David Jeremiah is president of Christian Heritage College and senior pastor of Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California. Drawing on The Beatitudes and David's example of seeking the Lord with all of one's heart, he declared that the discipline of focusing on Christ, submission to the Word of God, and commiting to daily prayer produce Christ-likeness in the believer. The Fall Bible Conference meetings began two weeks before the college family moved into the new Jeremiah Chapel on October 7. Dr. Jeremiah returned to campus October 8 to preach in the new chapel, named in honor of his parents, James and Ruby Jeremiah.
