You ought to read books about prayer. You should build a prayer library. You might want to go to some of your friends and church leaders and ask them, "What books on prayer have helped you the most in your prayer life?" You should also read biographies of some of the great warriors of prayer, people like George Mueller, Adoniram Judson, Charles Finney, Martin Luther, and D.L. Moody. If you study the lives of men and women of God who were greatly used of God, you can always trace much of their success back to their prayer lives. That should challenge us and motivate us as well.
