A gift of computer hardware and software from CAD CAM, Inc. of Dayton, will enhance Cedarville's new engineering program which is slated to begin in the fall of 1990. The company donated eleven 386 20MHz computers with 40MB hard drives, eleven digitablets, two plotters, one printer, and AutoCad software. The new equipment will accommodate 20 students at one time and will be used in entry level CAD (computer aided design) courses and in all design courses in the engineering program. Presently housed in the CAD Lab in the Science Center, the equipment will be moved to a lab in the proposed 61,455 square feet engineering building at its scheduled completion date in the fall of 1992. The CAD CAM gift is valued at $90,000. The College will continue to add Engineering Department faculty as the program, which offer majors in electrical and mechanical engineering, progresses. Interested candidates should contact Dr. Duane Wood, Academic Vice President. Dr. Don Callan Dr. Don Callan, men's basketball coach and athletic director, received recognition from both the NAIA and NCCAA this spring. He received NAIA's highest honor when he was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame on March 16 in Kansas City.
