r Ill' What Are You Waitin3 for? L ife is full of waiting. And usually when we wait for something, we know about how long the delay will be until we receive it. When we order a product through the mail, we wait four to six weeks for it to arrive. When we order a meal at a restaurant, we wait 15 to 20 minutes for our server to bring us our food. When our loved ones leave on vacation, we wait for their return at the end of a few days or weeks. Christians wait for the return of Christ, an event that will usher them into an eternal existence with God the Father. No one knows when Christ will come back, but a home in heaven is worth the wait. What are you waiting for? If you haven't trusted Christ as your Savior, then you won't be able to experience a glorious eternity with God the Father. The great news, however, is that you don't have to wait any longer to put your trust in Christ. You can settle your future right now! "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" (John 3: 16-17). Also, read Romans 4:4-7 and Romans 6: 5-8. And ask a Christian friend about eternal life in Christ Jesus. By turning your life over to Christ-repenting of your sin and accepting Christ's payment of your debt- you'll live a life with meaning and know you will live forever. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). Why wait?
