Matson Dr. Anderson is Associate Professor of Music at Cedarville College and directs the Concert Chorale. He is active as a tenor soloist, adjudicator and church music workshop leader, and serves as Minister of Music at Southgate Baptist Church in nearby Springfield, Ohio. His wife Connie is a private piano instructor and both are alumni of Cedarville College . The Andersons have two children . Some Biblical Considerations • • • • • Dr. Matson is chairman of the Music Department at Cedarville College and has been with the college for 16 years. Under his leadership the department has expanded to feature five major ensembles and many smaller vocal and instrumental ensembles which perform sacred music and other high quality vocal and instrumental literature. Dr. Matson is an alumnus of Cedarville College. He and Mrs . Matson have five children. 8 Music: A Ministry to Win Others • • • • • • • • • • • 12 Charles M. Pagnard • Mr. Pagnard is Assistant Professor of Music at Cedarville College and is director of the Brass Choir. Principal trumpet for the Dayton Philharmonic and the Springfield Symphony Orchestras, Professor Pagnard is a popular soloist and guest clinician for bands and music workshops throughout the midwest. Mrs. Pagnard is an instructor of clarinet, and the couple has two children .
