I ew nursing programs in our region command the respect that Cedarville's has earned. Nursing students start with Cedarville's strong liberal arts, Bible, and science courses. Our program develops technical skills, positive character traits, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities in its students. Both academic and clinical credentials mark our nursing faculty. Our nurses' effective combinations of technological skill, compassionate touch, and Christian values epitomize the Cedarville ideal. Cedarville's nursing graduates have brought acclaim to the program by their Christian service, technical expertise, and professional conduct. They practice in varied contexts...from some of America's most advanced hospitals to some of the world 's most primitive mission stations. No wonder these same agencies vigorously recruit our graduates annually. Engineering is Cedarville's newest department and offers great promise for our students. Offering majors in electrical and mechanical engineering , the innovative curriculum has already seen success. Cedarville students have excelled in national design competitions. These students benefit from Bible and liberal arts courses that are vital to the balanced education prized by employers. Cedarville's approach to engineering education also values hands-on experience, design and problem solving, and cross-disciplinary integration. Since few similar colleges offer these much needed engineering programs, we project the strong demand to continue.
